Williams is a seasoned policy executive with a background in the consumer finance industry, extensive experience on Capitol Hill and a strong track record advocating for underserved borrowers nationwide. He will pursue expansive policies in Washington, D.C., on behalf of OppLoans and its growing customer base.
Most recently, he served as the Director of Financial Services Policy of the Washington Bureau of the National Urban League. He has extensive experience leading policy efforts to help underserved communities gain access to traditional financial services, products and jobs. He also helped lead Congresswoman Fudge’s (D-Ohio) and Governor Strickland's (D-Ohio) federal economic policy portfolios.
