New Castle, DE, May 06, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Emile Henry Welcome collection offers a new concept in buffet, catering and institutional serving. This ceramic collection solves problems when creating and configuring efficient and cost saving buffets.
The modular-styled, small oblong dishes can go from oven, to buffet to table and these versatile dishes are a practical size for individual servings. They can be stacked for self-service at buffets, filled with hot or cold foods and served with a lid to keep hot if desired. The oblong shape makes them compact and easy to arrange in rows,
“Emile Henry created a real problem-solving design with the Welcome collection, said Chef Chris Cosentino. “These dishes not only look visually stunning but they are durable, going from heat source to buffet. Most importantly, these dishes stack so can they be configured to display food in a pleasing presentation that looks full and fresh, helping to eliminate food waste.”
The serve ware offers perfect stability when stacked since the bowls and dishes fit into each other avoiding the possibility of bowl stacks tipping over. A reinforced skirt-style handle runs around the rim of each dish giving a food server a more substantial grip on the serving dish. This multi-purpose rim features a notch or water drainage slot which is especially handy when dishes are damp when stacked. The rim is wide enough to serve as a canvas to place a label describing the contents of the dish which prevents name tags menu cards from being moved or knocked over. Welcome is available in a range of sizes for multiple buffet layouts and is available in the modern design colors of Fern Green, Slate, Coal Black, Chalk and Pearl Grey.
Emile Henry professional serve ware is made of High Resistance ceramic, an excellent thermal diffuser, that remains hot or cold longer than other materials. Highly resistant to thermal shocks (-4°F to 500°F) and mechanical shocks, these dishes are chip resistant even in the most hectic of kitchens. The glazes, fired at a very high temperature (2100°F), resist the most aggressive of detergents and sharp instruments. The dishes are scratch resistant. The hard glaze is absolutely smooth and non-porous, which makes cleaning easy and reduces the time and labor to clean baking dishes.
Founded in 1850, and located in Marcigny, in Burgundy, France, Emile Henry has established a worldwide reputation for manufacturing the finest quality ceramic ovenware and bakeware products.
