IRVINE, Calif., May 13, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, fundraising, and marketing solutions for college athletics, has announced a new relationship with the University of Minnesota. Gopher fans and donors will gain advanced mobile and digital ticketing features to personalize the way they experience Gopher Athletics events.
Fans will enjoy the ease of purchasing mobile tickets, receiving them via text message and gaining access to the venue with their phones. Season ticket buyers who cannot attend events will simply transfer or exchange tickets with mobile account management tools making it easy to fill seats and use tickets. Advanced ticketing and fundraising features will also be seamlessly integrated into the official athletics website and mobile app, powered by SIDEARM Sports, to elevate the customer experience.
“Partnering with Paciolan allows us to provide additional benefits for our season-ticket holders, fans and donors,” said Minnesota Athletics Director Mark Coyle. “One thing our fans told us is that they wanted a more efficient ticket-management tool and Paciolan provides that. Our fans can now buy, sell and scan their tickets right from their smartphones. Paciolan will allow us to connect with our fans in a more meaningful way.”
With Paciolan’s college athletics implementation of Salesforce and CRM administrative services, university staff will gain insights to make informed business decisions and provide personalized customer service.
“We are thrilled to work with the University of Minnesota to bring a new standard of excellence to the Golden Gopher community,” said Kim Damron, President and CEO of Paciolan. “We look forward to partnering with Minnesota Athletics to elevate the customer experience through a variety of technologies and services.”
Through the relationship, Minnesota will receive Paciolan’s signature service and support. Gopher staff will be paired up with a team of internal experts that will serve as a right hand to them to strategically plan, share best practices and consult on the comprehensive use of all Paciolan tools. Paciolan’s digital marketing team will work closely with Minnesota to deliver campaigns that engage new fans and drive ticket sales.
Paciolan partner, StubHub, will become the Official Fan-to-Fan Ticket Marketplace of the Golden Gophers. Fans will access the world’s largest ticket marketplace to buy and sell verified individual game tickets in a seamless and secure environment.
Gopher fans will also gain access to custom virtual venues created by Paciolan-owned Ballena Technologies while shopping for tickets. Paciolan’s Seat Relocation Management System will also streamline renewals and upgrades for season ticket holders.
The University of Minnesota is the 12th school in the Big Ten Conference to select Paciolan as its ticketing solution provider. Minnesota also has a long-standing multimedia rights management relationship with Paciolan’s parent company, Learfield IMG College.
