Nephros Announces $2 Million Private Placement


SOUTH ORANGE, NJ, May 16, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NEWMEDIAWIRE -- Nephros, Inc. (OTCQB:NEPH) (the “Company”), a commercial stage company that develops and sells high performance water purification products to the medical device and commercial markets, today announced that it has completed a private placement in which it sold approximately 4.4 million shares of common stock at a purchase price of $0.45 per share, resulting in total gross proceeds to the company of $2 million. The private placement was led by the Pessin and Farwell families.

Pursuant to its agreement with the investors, the Company has agreed to cause a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) covering the resale of the shares of common stock to be filed and declared effective within ninety days of the closing date.
