Get Your Grill On, Tennessee!


MURFREESBORO, May 20, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Grills are out of hibernation across Tennessee, and the Tennessee Beef Industry Council is celebrating by offering a free leaflet to the state’s grilling enthusiasts. Brought to you by the team that introduced the Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner. campaign, Grill to Perfection contains recipes, ideas and tips for making the most of the 2019 grilling season, and turning any grilling enthusiast into the toast of the neighborhood.

“Nothing says summer like a grill that is fired up and cooking the perfect steak or burger,” according to Valerie Bass, Executive Director of the TBIC. “The ideas in this brochure not only provide knowledge for better grilling, they feature mouth-watering meals and suggestions that will induce many smiles and happy taste buds.”

Among the recipes in the booklet are for Grilled Steak and Watermelon Salad and Grilled T-Bone Steaks with BBQ Rub, with a fool-proof formula for making a delicious Smoky Paprika Rub. Grill-perfect beef cuts are illustrated, while recommendations for cooking your steak (including tests for doneness) are also explained. A description for firing up the grill gets the entire process off on the right foot.
