Dallas, April 12, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is celebrating 80 years of serving Legit. Texas. Barbecue. by giving back to our nation’s first responders with the donation of protective gear from The Dickey Foundation.
The Dickey Foundation, which provides safety equipment and overall support for first responders, is donating 36 Safariland ballistic helmets and six shields to the Ennis Police Department valued at over $22,000. To date, The Dickey Foundation has donated more than $200,000 to local first responders.

Dickey’s will continue to release commemorative, limited-edition cups totaling six throughout the year to celebrate its 80th anniversary. All of the limited-edition cups will support The Dickey Foundation.
