Miami, FL, July 13, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Blue Star Foods Corp., (“Blue Star,” the “Company,” “we,” “our” or “us”) (NASDAQ: BSFC), an integrated Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainable seafood company with a focus on Recirculatory Aquaculture Systems (RAS), today announced that it has received a formal notice from The Nasdaq Stock Market (“Nasdaq”) stating that Blue Star Foods has regained compliance with the $1.00 per share minimum bid price requirement pursuant to Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) (the “Minimum Bid Price Requirement”), and granted extension requested for the equity requirement in listing rule 5550 (b)(1) (the “Equity Rule”). The Company is in compliance with all other applicable listing standards.
On July 11, 2023, the Company received a written notification from the Listing Qualifications Department of Nasdaq indicating that, as of July 11, 2023, the Company had regained compliance with the Minimum Bid Price Requirement. & the Panel considered the entire plan the company presented; memorandum prepared by NASDAQ staff & the Company’s Public filings and granted the Company’s request for an extension for the equity requirement rule, as well as granting the company’s request for continue listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market.
Blue Star’s stock continues to be listed and traded on The Nasdaq Capital Market.
