BEIJING, Aug. 02, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kaixin Auto Holdings (“Kaixin” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: KXIN) today announced the appointment of Mr. Lei Gu as Senior VP of the Company in charge of the new energy vehicles department.
Before joining Kaixin, Mr. Lei Gu served as the vice president and chief engineer of BAIC Motors, a Fortune 500 company, and the president of Beijing Automotive Research Institute. He also served in multiple senior positions with other companies, including senior technology expert with Ford Motors, president of Cherry Automobile Research Institute, director and general manager of BAIC Mercedes Benz Technology Center, and president of Lingtu Motors. Mr. Lei Gu received a Ph.D. in Mechanics from the University of Science and Technology of China and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University.
