Los Angeles, CA, Oct. 24, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- As part of its ongoing philanthropy activities, El Septimo raised over $100,000 for the Los Angeles Police Department in less than 4 hours, becoming the single-largest amount raised to support the men and women of the Los Angeles Police Department in history. The fund raising was held at the El Septimo Members-Only Cigar Lounge in Woodland Hills and was hosted by El Septimo, with Chief Michael Moore of the LAPD in attendance.
“I am a huge supporter of people that put their own life in danger to protect and serve our communities. This is least we can do to support the men and women in blue that demonstrate extraordinary courage, honor and sacrifice every single day. These funds will be a great way for the LAPD to meet some of its basic needs including equipment, training, technology and building maintenance. We auctioned off El Septimo limited-edition cigars, lighters, humidors and other accessories to raise the money. I was personally touched and emotionally invested to make sure we had a very successful fundraising and made sure we accomplished our task as the MC of the evening,” says Zaya S.
