MVALUE Launches Revolutionary Web Advertising Vehicle with Nissan to Better Target Consumers

Nissan and others team with MVALUE.com' s MExchange technology

LOS ANGELES, June 29, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- MVALUE.com, Inc. (www.MVALUE.com) launches MExchange, an on-line information marketplace on the Internet today. MVALUE.com through its MVALUE PANEL V2.1 enables consumers to sell their email, demographic information or click stream data directly to advertisers. MVALUE solves the on-line profile/privacy debate with a market-based solution that benefits both advertisers and consumers.

The MVALUE PANEL V2.1 desktop interface using the MExchange technology effectively allows consumers and advertisers to negotiate directly for coveted qualified consumer information. MExchange allows consumers to license their personal data to advertisers for a specified amount of time at a "market price." Advertisers can purchase online profiles of their customers or their competitor's customers.

MVALUE's charter partners include: Nissan, DVDEXPRESS.com and ice.com. These partners will license the right to view the consumer's information in custom reports based on aggregate information for an agreed period of time and price. The advertiser does not directly have access to the consumer information; it resides on MVALUE's secure servers and is presented in anonymous aggregated form.

Concern for personal privacy and the control of personal information has redefined the advertising methods used by both web and traditional retailers. MExchange enables advertisers to target consumers without violating their privacy.

"MVALUE is creating a consumer-controlled market for on-line profiles where advertisers can buy online profiles directly from consumers. This enables advertisers to get the best possible data from consumers without compromising consumer privacy and without fear of consumer backlash or government investigation. MExchange creates a win-win for both consumers and advertisers." Says CEO Jay Haynes of MVALUE.com.

"MVALUE's MExchange allows us to interact directly with consumers to obtain highly qualified data," says Steve Bava, eBusiness Marketing Manager, Nissan North America. "The data acquired through MVALUE enables us to improve the effectiveness of our one-to-one marketing." The MExchange technology should lower the cost of customer acquisition and yield a higher rate of return on their advertising dollar.
