ArchivalCD Inks Letter of Intent with PortalJuice.com


CROCKETT, Texas, Oct. 11, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- Daniel J. Hay, CEO of ArchivalCD, Inc. announced that the company has signed a Letter of Intent to use the Nextopia Software Corporation's PortalJuice.com(tm) search engine product. ArchivalCD(tm) will be producing and promoting a vertical market search engine in the genealogical and historical markets.

Mr. Hay stated, "There are so many genealogy and history Webpages currently on the Internet that a minor industry as been created in Webpages listing links to other Webpages." The company chose PortalJuice.com to power its search engine because of the power Nextopia allows with the use of its own PJSpider(tm) to keep the search engine updated and accurate. "Many linking pages have outdated or broken links," said Hay, "and with our own powerful search engine we will be able to feed it links to spider-through, input our own database of links, filter unrelated pages, as well as keeping search results both relevant and timely.
