Intentia Signs Partnership With ZoomON to Enable Seamless Visual Collaboration Across the Extended Enterprise

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Nov. 14, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) --Intentia International AB (publ). (XSSE:INT B) today announced that Intentia Sweden AB has signed a global partnership with ZoomON AB, through Intentia's Alliance Partner Program. ZoomON is a leading provider of visual collaboration solutions for business-to-business applications in Web and wireless environments. ZoomON provides the final link in streamlining the Web collaboration process- dynamic conversion, viewing and editing of technical business documents such as project plans, design specifications and architectural as well as mechanical drawings. By integrating the ZoomON solution with Intentia's e-collaboration application Movex, Intentia is able to provide effective visual collaboration over the Internet.

ZoomON's flagship product, ZoomON Vizit(tm), is a Web-centric solution that dynamically converts technical business documents from native to viewer-ready format for a wide variety of input and output file formats including vector, PDF, raster, TIFF, GIF, JPEG and others. The documents are converted without having to change configurations or add plug-ins to the Movex application.

"With this new truly thin client offering, we are driving e-collaborations forward by providing enterprise-wide collaboration solutions to Intentia's customers. These solutions dramatically save time and money, by reducing project cycle time both in the construction and manufacturing industries," explains Michael Bergsten, ZoomON's VP of European Operations. "The partnership with Intentia is essential for the future development of our business, especially in Europe."

Mikael Matti, Product Manager - MRO at Intentia Research and Development, comments, "Our partnership with ZoomON once again proves Intentia's global capability and strong product offering." The Movex application combined with ZoomON will provide Intentia's customers with advanced graphical representations of their data. Utilizing application program interface (API) technology, users will be able to navigate data using graphical and pictorial images of their sites, production units, manufacturing lines, down to individual equipment and components - and then onwards to the extensive data available within the Movex application. This integration will dramatically change the way in which information is accessed in the future.
