Management Changes in Sunrise and Talkline


COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Dec. 12, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- Today, Tele Danmark as the majority shareholder of sunrise (Switzerland) and the owner of Talkline (Germany) has announced the following changes in the management of sunrise and Talkline:

Kim Frimer will replace Urs Fischer and become Chief Executive Officer of sunrise and be the designated CEO of the merged company sunrise/diAx (Switzerland), whereby this merger is currently being reviewed by the Swiss Competition Commission. Kim Frimer has been working for Tele Danmark since 1986. From 1997 to 1999 he was Chief Operating Officer of sunrise and since 1999 he has been the Chief Executive Officer of Talkline.

Klaus Holgaard Rasmussen will replace Kim Frimer as Chief Executive Officer of Talkline. Klaus Holgaard Rasmussen has been working for Tele Danmark since 1996 and is presently Vice President in Tele Danmark Mobile.

Urs Fischer, the Chief Executive Officer of sunrise, has decided to join another corporation. More information will be available in a release to be sent out in Switzerland today at 17.00 (5 pm).
