djuice(tm) and Nokia to Cooperate in Developing Mobile Internet Solutions


OSLO, Norway, March 14, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telenor's (Nasdaq:TELN) mobile Internet portal, djuice(tm), and Nokia Networks have signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) for a cooperation on mobile Internet solutions. According to the LoI, the Nokia mPlatform Solution as well as new mobile Internet solutions emerging from the cooperation will be implemented in djuice(tm) mobile portal operations world-wide. The two companies will build on each other's expertise in order to offer the best and most user-friendly mobile Internet solutions to the customers of djuice(tm).

In the initial phase of the cooperation, Nokia mPlatform Solution will be implemented as the enabling platform for djuice's(tm) mobile portal services in Norway. The companies will also work together in the service creation center located in Oslo with the focus on further developing mobile Internet services specifically for djuice(tm).

At present, djuice(tm) has been launched in Norway, Thailand and Malaysia and will be launched in Portugal later this year. New markets will follow in 2001 and 2002 as the rollout of djuice's(tm) mobile Internet services continues.
