STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Jan. 7, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- NCC Property Development has reached an agreement with Volito Fastigheter AB regarding the sale of the Ran 8 property at Skeppsbron, Malmo. The sales price of SEK 14.5 million will generate a gain of SEK 9.1 million for NCC. The sale will affect NCC's earnings during the first quarter of 2002.
The four-story office property, which is located at Skeppsbron, about 200 meters from Malmo Central Station, comprises a total of approximately 1,000 square meters of floor space. The building was erected at the end of the 19th Century and was refurbished during the mid-1980s.
"This sale is in line with our strategy of selling managed properties in order to release capital for investments in new development projects," said Jan Andersson, Property Sales Manager at NCC Property Development Malmo.
The purchaser will take over the property on January 21, 2002.
