SurgiCare to Unveil Nationwide Expansion Strategy at the Federated Ambulatory Surgical Association Annual Meeting


HOUSTON, Jan. 17, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- SurgiCare, Inc. (AMEX:SRG), a Houston-based Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) company, announced that it anticipates rolling out its nationwide expansion plans at the 28th annual Federated Ambulatory Surgical Association (FASA) scheduled for April 17-20 in San Antonio, Texas.

FASA is a nonprofit association representing the interests of ambulatory surgery centers throughout the nation. FASA represents all aspects of the industry including the physicians, nurses, administrative staff, and owners.

SurgiCare will be one of the event's Gold sponsors and plans to launch its national marketing campaign at the event, that is expected to be well attended by physicians and surgery center owners.
