NCC Sells Properties in Malmo and Jonkoping for SEK 210 Million


SOLNA, Sweden, March 19, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- NCC Property Development has sold the Taxeringsrevisorn 2 property in Malmo and the Ornnastet 4 property in Jonkoping to companies whose principal owner is CA Fastigheter AB. The combined purchase price of SEK 210 million will generate a gain of SEK 5 million, which will affect NCC's earnings for the second quarter of 2002. The takeover date is May 1.

The property in Malmo, located at Inre Ringvagen, in the Rosengard district, includes 15,000 square meters of office space and 8,000 square meters of rented residential space. Total floor space in the building, which includes NCC's regional office, amounts to 24,000 square meters. The sale is in line with NCC's strategy of divesting its managed properties.

The property in Jonkoping, located along Herkulesvagen by Munksjon, comprises a total of approximately 10,000 of floor space, including an ICA Maxi hypermarket developed by NCC in accordance with ICA's concept for modern hypermarkets. The property was completed in 2000.
