NCC's Sale of Property in Malmo Generates SEK 18.5 Million Gain


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 30, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- NCC Property Development has sold the Laxen 17 property in central Malmo to Contentus AB. The sales price of SEK 45.8 million will generate a gain of approximately SEK 18.5 million. The sale will affect NCC's earnings during the second quarter of 2002. The purchaser will gain access to the property on June 28 this year.

Laxen 17 is located along the Sodra Forstadsgatan pedestrian boulevard at Triangeln in Malmo. The property comprises a six-story building containing retail, office and residential units with combined rentable floor space of approximately 2,900 square meters. The building, which was erected in the 1940s, is mainly surrounded by commercial properties.

"This sale is in line with our strategy of selling managed properties in order to release capital for investments in new development projects," said Jan Andersson, Property Sales Manager, NCC Property Development, Malmo.
