OuterBound Games' 'Xtreme Air Racing' Goes Gold; New Website Outlining Game's Features Launched


LANGHORNE, Pa., Sept. 10, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- eGames Inc. (OTCBB:EGAM) announced today that its new cutting-edge flight simulation game "Xtreme Air Racing(TM)" has gone gold and is currently at replication.

To coincide with the impending shipment of the title, the OuterBound Games website has launched a new area dedicated to the game. The website features numerous screenshots, product specs, technical manuals, airplane descriptions, reviews of the game, a three-and-a-half-minute trailer movie, and more. "Xtreme Air Racing" is the highly detailed recreation of the "Worlds Fastest Motor Sport" developed for the PC, developed by Victory Simulations, and published by eGames, Inc. Accurate representations of the airplanes that compete in the National Championship Air Races held ever year in Reno, Nevada, together with realistic 3-D terrain graphics, combine to provide the ultimate high speed racing experience. Pilots will enjoy flying over 500 miles per hour in supercharged, nitrous burning aircraft generating over 3000 horsepower while racing around pylons only 50 feet off the ground.

Developed in conjunction with actual pilots who race in the Reno, Nevada Air Races, "Xtreme Air Racing" is as close as it gets to the real thing. Pilots helped with various aspects of the game, from getting the feel of the aircraft as they careen around the course exactly right, to the position of every hill and landmark of the authentic Reno course.
