Hotsip Signs Distribution Agreement with Bell Net (Japan)

Agreement Paves the Way for Hotsip's SIP and Presence Applications to be Deployed in the Asian Market


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 24, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Hotsip AB (www.hotsip.com), the global leader in SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and Presence-based products for fixed and mobile networks, announced today that Bell Net, a leading Japanese systems integrator and experienced SIP expert, has signed a software distribution agreement with Hotsip to deploy SIP and Presence applications in the Japanese market.

The non-exclusive agreement covers all of Hotsip's products and spans the Japanese market, enabling Bell Net to introduce SIP and Presence products to Japanese broadband and mobile service providers. Already today the Japanese market boasts of achieving the most advanced broadband network, and one, which will be an innovator in SIP-based services.
