GOTEBORG, Sweden, Oct. 8, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- SKF's (Nasdaq:SKFR) (LSE:SKFB) Dutch subsidiary Delta Consult BV has signed a long-term agreement with the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) for support of their helicopter maintenance operations. The agreement covers a period of five years.
Eight helicopter maintenance specialists from Delta Consult will provide assistance to helicopter maintenance groups located at different airbases in the Netherlands. In addition to delivering knowledge and experience through providing on-site assistance, their task includes coaching, training and transfer of knowledge to Air Force employees. RNLAF operates with a mixed fleet of helicopters.
Delta Consult will also assist in the improvement of helicopter maintenance processes.
