NBC Sports Adds to Atmosphere at NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway Locations

INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 13, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway racing centers offer race fans the chance to experience many of the thrills of NASCAR racing through simulation, and NBC Sports is now adding to the exciting atmosphere at the racing centers through a unique arrangement.

The television network, which televises half of the races on the NASCAR Winston Cup schedule, has provided a training video featuring NBC motorsports personalities Allen Bestwick and Benny Parsons. The video prepares guests for their pending simulated NASCAR racing experience, with Bestwick and Parsons educating the guests with racing requirements as well as racing tips.

"This is another way of bringing the excitement of NASCAR racing to NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway locations," said William R. Donaldson, Chairman and CEO of Interactive Motorsports and Entertainment Corp. (OTCBB:IMTS). Perfect Line, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of IMTS, owns and operates the unique NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway mall-based racing centers.

"NBC's telecasts of NASCAR races are some of the best and most innovative in the history of sports television. Our guests can hear from two of the people they see and hear on NBC telecasts every week, which makes the experience of visiting a NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway even more authentic."

Perfect Line's NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway racing centers are the largest chain of officially licensed, NASCAR-branded interactive entertainment stores in the world, and offers its customers the most popular NASCAR merchandise available. Perfect Line has integrated sophisticated proprietary racing simulator technology with an exclusive NASCAR license for location-based entertainment and licenses for popular NASCAR tracks and teams. NASCAR racing is considered the number one spectator sport in America, with an estimated 75 million fans and more than $1 billion in NASCAR-branded retail merchandise sales.
