Ibbotson Announces 2003 Cost of Capital Workshop


CHICAGO, May 1, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Ibbotson Associates, a leading provider of investment tools and knowledge, today announced its 2003 Cost of Capital Workshop to be held June 20 in Chicago.

The workshop will feature special presentations by Dr. Roger Ibbotson, chairman of Ibbotson Associates and Roger Grabowski, ASA, managing director in S&P's Corporate Value Consulting practice. Topics will include Ibbotson's alternative method of forecasting the equity risk premium and Grabowski's interpretation and application of the S&P CVC Risk Premium Report. Also included will be topics ranging from the foundations of cost of capital to advanced calculations and adjustment techniques presented by Michael Barad, manager of Valuation and Legal Services at Ibbotson Associates.

An optional exam will be administered at the end of the day. Participants who pass the exam will receive a certificate of completion from Ibbotson Associates. This workshop also qualifies attendees for continuing professional education credit.
