Korsnas Chooses Resco for Axapta Implementation


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 13, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Swedish forestry company Korsnas has given Resco the assignment to implement the Microsoft Business Solutions-Axapta business system.Korsnas is currently improving its financial statement and reporting procedures, and has chosen to implement the accounting module from Microsoft Business Solutions-Axapta with Resco as supplier. The value of the order is SEK 1.5 million.

"We want to obtain financial statements more rapidly and be able to actively analyse our financial results. We currently have several systems, and are now simplifying their environment by working with Axapta to achieve an overall integration. Axapta fulfilled our requirements specification well, and we chose Resco due to the good recommendations that we received," said Mats Ostling, CFO of Korsnas.

Korsnas manufactures highly refined and specialised forestry products, and employs around 1,200 people in Sweden. Korsnas' production is essentially focused on cardboard and paper products for the packaging sector, as well as fluff pulp for hygiene products.
