LONDON, May 22, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Old Mutual (Other OTC:ODMTF) (LSE:OML): the Company has been informed, by a notification received today, that Mr. C F Liebenberg, a non-executive Director of the Company and Chairman of its 53% owned banking subsidiary, Nedcor Limited, has today acquired by subscription at par US$100,000 nominal of Guaranteed Cumulative Perpetual Securities in Old Mutual Capital Funding L.P. These represent Mr Liebenberg's entire holding of the securities concerned and constitute 0.013% of the total issue of US$750 million.
