Stockholmsborsen: Review of Most Traded and ATTRACT40


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 17, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Stockholmsborsen's segments for the most traded shares will be updated from July 1st, 2003. The Most Traded-segment (Mest omsatta) on the A- list remain unchanged while Attract40(TM) will get 8 new companies and 8 companies will leave the segment.

During the second half of 2003, the number of companies on the Most Traded-segment will be 27 and 45 companies will be included in the Attract40-segment, whereof 8 are new companies. The companies that leave Attract40 will traded on the O-list. Prior to the end of each half-year period the segments will be changed based on the statistics of the trade. In that way Attract40 and the Most Traded segments will reflect those companies that have been of interest to the investors during the last six months respectively the last year. In the Attract40 segment, the weightings of the Industrials sector has increased while the IT- companies weightings have been reduced.

"Both segment put emphasis on liquidity. The criteria for Attract40 ensures that mid-cap companies, with high liquidity, are likely to be included in the segment," said Frank Teneberg, Head of Issuer Sales, Stockholmsborsen. Most Traded and Attract40 from July 1st, 2003.

New companies on Attract40: Karo Bio AB, Medivir AB, New Wave Group AB, SECTRA AB, SkiStar AB, Song Networks Holding AB, Fastighets AB Tornet and Lennart Wallenstam Byggnads AB. One company, Metro International S.A., will be transferred to Attract40 after a temporary listing on the Observation Segment during the previous period. Companies that will leave Attract40: Intentia International AB, Mandamus Fastigheter AB, Orc Software AB, Pergo AB, Ratos AB, Sapa AB and SwitchCore AB. Europolitan Vodafone AB has been de-listed, due to a take- over.
