LONDON, June 30, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Cordiant (NYSE:CDA) (LSE:CRI): at an extraordinary general meeting held on Saturday 28 June 2003 to approve the disposal of a 70% stake in Cordiant's principal Australian operations, The Communications Group, and the Group's 77% stake in Scholz & Friends, the transactions were approved. It is expected that completion will be on 30 June 2003 for The Communications Group transaction and in mid July, subject to approval from the relevant competition authorities, for the Scholz & Friends transaction.
