NCC to construct new court building in Oslo for SEK 135 million


SOLNA, Sweden, July 04, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- NCC Construction AS has been commissioned by Entra Eiendom to construct a new court building for Borgarting Lagmansrett in Oslo, Norway. In addition, existing parts of the property will be renovated. The order is worth approximately SEK 135 million (NOK 123 million).

The assignment, which will take the form of a turnkey contract, includes demolishing the existing building, constructing 8,000 square meters of new premises and renovating 3,000 square meters of premises. The premises will be used as courtrooms and offices.

The court building is located in the so-called Munch block in central Oslo.

Project engineering and planning work will commence immediately, with a view to initiating construction during the autumn. The project is scheduled for completion at the end of 2004.
