Framfab to construct new website for St. Erik's Eye Hospital

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 16, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- In competition with 36 bidders, Framfab has been chosen by St. Erik's Eye Hospital to construct its new website, intended as a source of key information on ophthalmological care.

One objective of St. Erik's new website will be to provide simple, concrete advice concerning ophthalmological care in order to shorten the waiting time at the emergency room. Adapted for the visually impaired, the website will also support and publicize St. Erik's Eye Hospital and its activities.

Harald Abelin, CEO of St. Erik's Eye Hospital, says, "Following a thorough evaluation, we concluded that Framfab was the supplier that could best satisfy our needs and quality requirements."

The agreement is for the design, development and implementation of St. Erik's new website. An option permits the signing of a subsequent support agreement for up to four years.

According to Johan Dovelius, information architect at Framfab in Stockholm, "The assignment to develop a new website for St. Erik's is particularly stimulating given that the hospital wants to prioritize user perspective, design and vibrant content. We are convinced that the website will be highly useful to its visitors while helping to raise the hospital's profile."

St. Erik's new website will be based on EpiServer 4.0 Professional.
