Kingdom Ventures Acquires Remaining Assets of Christian Times


MINDEN, Nev., Oct 14, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Kingdom Ventures, Inc. (OTCBB:KDMV) today announced that it has acquired the remaining assets of Christian Times from Keener Communications Group, Inc.

In June 2003, Kingdom Ventures acquired the national rights to publish Christian Times-the sixth largest Christian publication in the United States. Under the terms of the agreement, Kingdom Ventures exercised its option provisions to purchase the trademark, trade names and all outstanding assets of Christian Times.

"Our goal is for Christian Times to become the USA Today for the Christian Community. We have recently opened distribution points in Virginia and Tennessee, and we expect additional points in the near future," said Gene Jackson, president and CEO of Kingdom Ventures. This acquisition paves the way for us to continue to build the subscription base, reach and add revenue for Christian Times."

Christian Times has a monthly circulation of over 500,000 through more than 10,000 churches and retail outlets. It is a multiple award winner with the Evangelical Press Association and a 2-time Angel Award winner. Jackson noted that the Christian Times is widely recognized as one of the leading Christian newspapers nationwide.
