Author To Recount Personal Struggle To Care for Husband with Lou Gehrig's Disease

 WHAT:    The ALS Association's 2004 Leadership Development and ALS
          Clinical Conference. The ALS Association is the only
          national not for profit voluntary health organization
          dedicated solely to the fight against Lou Gehrig's disease,
          or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

 WHO:     Terry L. Wise, J.D., author of "Waking Up - Climbing Through
          the Darkness," became a widow at the age of 35 following the
          death of her spouse from ALS. Wise, who attempted suicide in
          the struggle to care for her loved one, will illuminate
          techniques to assist professionals who work with ALS
          families.
