Cycle Country and Weekend Warrior Sprucing Up for Spring Activities

MILFORD, Iowa, March 31, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Cycle Country Accessories Corp. (AMEX:ATC), the outright leader in developing and manufacturing select custom-fitting accessories for the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and other diversified industry products, along with their wholly owned subsidiary Weekend Warrior, is gearing up for an explosive spring season. The 140% increase in preliminary mower orders started the season with continuing optimistic growth.

According to the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI) outdoor power equipment helps consumers keep a well-maintained lawn which not only creates pride, but can increase the real estate value of the home by 15%. Individuals taking pride in their home will control the weeds in their yard or pasture with a rack-mounted Deluxe ATV Spot Sprayer. Farmers and commercial applicators will appreciate the advanced features of a comprehensive sprayer unit featuring a 25 gallon chemical resistant tank with sump and powered by a SHURFLO diaphragm pump with Viton valves. A 100 lb. capacity hopper mounts to either the front or the rear rack of your ATV and is perfect for spreading fertilizer, grass seed or seeds for food plots. The uniquely designed rounded bed utility trailer is great for all-purpose ATV hauling.

"We make high-quality products that transform your ATV into a practical work tool without interfering with your ability to use your ATV for recreation," said Mr. Ron Hickman, CEO and President of Cycle Country Accessories. "We strive to engineer products that mount easily and quickly and that can be removed just as easily."

The OPEI stated that record levels of home mortgage refinancing and tax cuts helped the demand for, and provided the cash to purchase outdoor power equipment over the past year. OPEI reported a 5% increase in outdoor power equipment such as lawnmowers, garden tractors, utility vehicles, and other related products for model year 2003 over 2002 with total shipments at 8,103,217 units. Power Systems Research Company reported production of commercial mowing equipment grew approximately 8% in the last five years.
