Coram Healthcare Signs Agreement with Humana

Becomes preferred national provider of home infusion therapies for Humana members


DENVER, July 29, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Coram Healthcare (OTCBB:CRHEQ), one of the country's leading national providers of specialized home infusion therapies, today announced an agreement with Humana Inc. (NYSE:HUM) for Coram to become a preferred provider of specialized home infusion, respiratory therapy and home medical equipment for Humana members. The agreement was effective July 1, 2004.

This national agreement, in combination with existing agreements between Coram and Humana's national network, Humana/ChoiceCare and Humana Military Healthcare Services subsidiaries, will allow Coram to provide services to 5.8 million members nationwide.
