IMS Capital Management No Load Funds Now Available NTF at Fidelity Investments

PORTLAND, Ore., Oct. 19, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- IMS Capital Management today announced that its three no load funds were added to the Fidelity Investments FundsNetwork(r) platform with no transaction fees (NTF). The move is designed to satisfy demand from fee-only advisors looking to access the IMS Funds for their clients with no transaction fee.

NTF (no transaction fee) is appealing because advisors can invest in the Funds at no cost. In addition to advisors, many individual investors and correspondent broker dealers also use Fidelity Investments to access as many as 7,500 mutual funds. The IMS Funds will be available to each without a transaction fee.

"We recognize the importance of NTF availability to advisors so we decided to change our availability across all mutual fund platforms," explained IMS founder and lead portfolio manager Carl W. Marker. The IMS Funds, IMS Capital Value, IMS Strategic Allocation, and IMS Strategic Income, have no loads or 12b-1 fees.

IMS' flagship offering, IMS Capital Value Fund, has enjoyed particular attention in the last year for posting superior returns. And coincident with its NTF availability at Fidelity Investments, the Fund lowered its expense ratio for the third time since inception to 1.48%.
