Stafford Energy, Inc. Subsidiary Abucco Poised to Penetrate Several Billion Dollar Marketplace


VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Jan. 25, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Stafford Energy, Inc., ("Stafford") (Pink Sheets:SFDE), is pleased to announce its subsidiary, Abucco Technologies Inc. ("Abucco") over the past few months has made significant progress in the execution of its business plan, especially in relation to product, distribution and support.

Abucco has refined its product lines into two strategically focused groups, Guard Series and SmartAccess Series. The Guard Series products can be used to protect and monitor public facilities, small commercial businesses, public transportation vehicles, trucks/vans/RVs, boats, cottages and other assets in storage or while in transit. The Guard Series can be wired or wireless and can cover any aspect of operation from security, access control to picture capture and retrieval. The SmartAccess Series products can be used to protect and monitor marinas, condominiums, apartments and other facilities requiring smart card and biometric fingerprint based people identification. In addition, high speed video streaming and direct Internet access is also incorporated in the SmartAccess Series. Worldwide market size for relevant applications is in the hundreds of billions of dollars.

Abucco has continued to strengthen its dealer network in North America, in addition to advancing the launch of distributorships and dealerships in foreign markets including South America and Europe. In North America, 5D Computers Inc. (http://www.5dcomputers.com) has received its first order from a Kelsey's restaurant for a Guard Series system. In South America, Trace Canada Inc. (http://www.tracecanada.com) is anticipating an order for 100 Guard Series systems destined for Bogota, Columbia with potential incorporation in the Millennium Bus project. The Millennium Bus project will potentially incorporate up to 5,000 Guard Series systems for monitoring, tracking and emergency communication. In Europe, Cyber Route Intl. Telecommunications B.V. In an effort to strengthen its sales channels even further, Abucco has also launched a new dealer development program designed to provide the dealers with access to a proven sales system with on-going support.
