NetMusic Gains National Exposure in USA Today Newspaper with Premier of 'Dead Girl,' Starring Val Kilmer

SEATTLE, March 8, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Today, news of NetMusic Entertainment Corporation's (Pink Sheets:NTMT) premier of the controversial film "Dead Girl" starring Val Kilmer, Anne Parillaud, Adam Coleman Howard, and Amanda Plummer, featuring Famke Jensen and Teri Hatcher, and written and produced by Philippe Caland was revealed to the massive readership of USA Today http://www.usatoday.com/.

In an item on the front page of the Life section, the paper, which boasts a daily circulation of over 2,000,000, mentions NetMusic's www.netmusic.com website as the location of the previously shelved film's premier.

"The national attention that NetMusic is receiving from the 'Dead Girl' premier confirms that we are building something truly revolutionary," said NetMusic Chairman and CEO Glen Starchman. He added, "Helping consumers find new and previously unavailable entertainment is what NetMusic is all about. The desire for this kind of service has been around forever, and NetMusic answers that call."

The premier of "Dead Girl," occurring on March 16th, 2005 at 6PM EST and running until March 17th, 2005 at 6PM EST, will demonstrate NetMusic's ability to bring to the public entertainment that traditional distribution models have made unavailable. Consumers will be able to participate by viewing the film exclusively through NetMusic.com.

As previously announced, NetMusic is developing several strategic relationships to further its entry into Video-On-Demand. The company has announced content development and distribution partnerships with Zamek Worldwide and KlikVU, Inc. NetMusic is aggressively pursuing a number of other content acquisition avenues.

Starchman also stated, "we have gained a lot of experience gathering content in the music arena, becoming the largest catalogue in the Idie music space. I have charged my team with leveraging that experience to accomplish the same successes in film and video entertainment."
