ReelTime Begins Adding Public Users to Final Testing Phase of its Intelligent Rapid Delivery System

SEATTLE, March 10, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Reeltime Rentals, Inc. (Pink Sheets:RLTR) announced that the Company has begun incorporating pre-registered members of the general public into the final phase of ReelTime's Beta Test of its Intelligent Rapid Delivery System (IRDS). Over the course of the past few months, interested parties have been able to register on ReelTime's website (www.reeltimetv.net) to participate in the testing process. The third and final phase officially began internal testing on February 1, 2005. The software that consumers will experience in Phase III will continually evolve throughout the course of this testing period as the Company integrates aesthetic changes and adds final touches to the Rental-on-Demand Client.

According to Alex Stanczyk, ReelTime Chief Executive Officer, "From a technical development standpoint, ReelTime's team has been able to achieve a remarkable feat in a short period of time. The in-house development of fully automated encoding and encryption systems, an incredibly robust IRDS network for media delivery, and a custom player and codec have created an incredibly complex application that ReelTime feels is necessary to deliver our high quality end-user experience to customers. The Company is aware of the many shareholders and supporters of our company and technology that are eagerly awaiting the launch of our service. By opening this phase of testing up to the general public, we will not only be able to gather additional information on our systems, but we will showcase parts of the incredible technology that customers will experience at launch."

The Company anticipates incorporating pre-registered beta testers in blocks of 50 new users at a time throughout the duration of the test. Testers will have the ability to choose from a group of feature films that can be viewed at no charge and will then provide feedback to the Company for further product development. Upon completion of adding the pre-registered testers to the Beta Test, ReelTime will open the testing process to all consumers nationwide with a direct link on the Company's website for a brief period leading up to the launch of the Rental-on-Demand service.
