UPPSALA, Sweden, March 21, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- According to a press release from Medicis today, the company is going to merge with the American company Inamed Corporation. Both companies are large players within the esthetics area. Inamed is also an international company.
Since 2003 Medicis has been Q-Med's partner in North America for esthetic products.

We will immediately begin to discuss what shape the extended cooperation will take," says Q-Med's President and CEO Bengt Agerup.
