Homeland Integrated Security Systems Appoints Fred Wicks as Chief Operating Officer


ASHEVILLE, N.C., April 19, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets:HISC) is pleased to announce that they have appointed Fred Wicks as Chief Operating Officer of the Company. Mr. Wick's responsibilities will include running the day-to-day commercial operations of Homeland Integrated Security Systems. Mr. Wicks has been serving as Executive Vice President of Domestic and International Business Development.

Mr. Wicks has previously worked for a $13 billion factory automation company called Invensys and for Rockwell International Corporation, Inc. The appointment of Mr. Wicks to Chief Operating Officer solidifies the management team for Homeland Integrated Security Systems, which includes Frank A. Moody II, as Chief Executive Officer, Ian Riley as Chief Technical Officer, and Brian Riley as Chief Information Officer. Brian Riley also oversees the operations of the retail division of the company, which includes three retail phone stores and a custom computer group in North Carolina.

Homeland Integrated Security Systems also announced that Jim Bullock is stepping down as Chairman of the company due to his retirement. Frank A. Moody II, will serve as interim Chairman of the Board of Homeland Integrated Security Systems.
