Saab: AerotechTelub Gives Notice to 55 People

LINKOPING, Sweden, April 20, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Saab: AerotechTelub is giving notice to 55 people. The move affects 25 people in Solna, 20 in Ostersund and 10 in Orebro. The measure is an adaptation to the prevailing order and capacity situation.

``It is very regrettable that we have to make these personnel cutbacks. They are primarily due to lower volumes in defense orders and affect our development and maintenance operations. We will be doing our best to support the people involved," says AerotechTelub President Lars-Erik Wige. Notice of the workforce reductions has been submitted to the relevant County Employment Boards. The union organizations have been informed, and negotiations will begin in the near future.
