Soleil Film's CEO Comments on Initial Screening of its Feature Film at Cannes Film Festival and Announces Film's Entry in Toronto Film Festival


CANNES, France, May 17, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Soleil Film, Inc. (Pink Sheets:SFLM) announced today that the first screening of its highly anticipated feature film, "All That I Need," had a receptive welcome at its initial screening at the Cannes Film Festival and has submitted the film to be considered for competition in the Toronto Film Festival. CEO Ken Eade commented, "We were pleased with the outcome of our initial screening in Cannes. Buyers from 12 foreign countries attended the screening, and we will be following up with them in meetings all this week. Additionally, we were delighted to welcome representatives of the Toronto Film Festival at the May 13th screening. We expect our domestic buyers to be in attendance on Friday the 20th at 2 p.m. for the film's second screening."

"All That I Need," a reality documentary movie in the spirit of "SuperSize Me," which grossed more than $28 million in theatrical release worldwide and "The Blair Witch Project," which grossed more than $140 million, is produced by Hergott Productions, Executive Producer, Tarquin Gotch (Home Alone, Curly Sue).

Miramax Pictures, subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, IFC Films, subsidiary of Cablevision Systems; Newmarket Films (The Passion of the Christ), Fox, subsidiary of News Corp., Roadside Attractions (Super Size Me), Avex Entertainment, and Think Film Co. are among the distributors who will be in attendance. Warner Bros., subsidiary of Time Warner, Inc., Sony Pictures Classics, Lightning Entertainment, and SPG Home Video are among those who have requested a pre-screening, while Paramount Pictures, subsidiary of Viacom, Inc. has already pre-screened the film and has issued a positive response.
