(Nasdaq:CITP), a leading provider of technology staffing services and solutions, today announced the opening of a new U.K. sales and recruiting office. COMSYS has provided vendor management services ("VMS") in the U.K. from an administrative office for over a year. The local operation is now adding full sales and recruiting capabilities in response to an increase in U.K. IT staffing demand from a number of key U.S. customers that have operations in the U.K.
Commenting on the new sales office, Bob Dougherty, vice president of COMSYS' VMS Operations, said, "We have seen tremendous success in our operating activities in the U.K. since we initially opened our administrative office here last July. With this success, many of our existing customers have asked us to expand our presence to support other business needs, primarily IT staffing. This gives us the logical platform from which to open a complete sales and recruiting presence."

The move into the new U.K. quarters, located in West Sussex, has been completed and the office is now fully operational. Situated near Gatwick airport, the location offers easy access to London and all major air, road and rail links for international business guests. The sales staff includes a complement of full-time account and placement managers, and additional business development resources will be added as demand increases.
