CHATSWORTH, Calif., June 16, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Joe Naughton, CEO of Go Online Networks Corp. (OTCBB:GONT) announced today that the company has acquired DisasterAndEmergencyKits.com, a developmental stage company focused on the disaster preparedness market.

DisasterAndEmergencyKits.com is a developmental stage business focused on supplying disaster and emergency kits to government, municipal and retail establishments in the U.S. Featured on the site are disaster kits and emergency supplies for use by individuals and groups to be used in the home, car or the workplace. Also available on the site are comprehensive guides to assist in preparing people for terrorist attacks and natural disasters. Two separate sections are included that provide preparation checklists and emergency procedures in case of such events.

The product line will range from kits for one individual to large kits for up to 100 people. Included in the kits will be all the essentials to survive for a certain period of time and include food and water rations, water purification tablets, first aid kits, sanitation supplies, survival blankets, dust masks, gloves, radios, and flashlights. Additionally, carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers have been added to the site to complete the product offerings and create a one-stop shopping site for all essential emergency, disaster and survival products.

DisasterAndEmergencyKits.com was designed to offer a complete line of products to meet the needs of millions of people that recognize the need to be prepared for any potential disaster, including hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, earthquakes, blackouts and power outages.

The E-commerce strategy utilized is designed to be extremely cost efficient in terms of minimizing overhead and order fulfillment expenses. All warehousing, inventory management, and shipping will be handled by our suppliers, leaving the management team to focus on product selection and rapid response to the market demands. The fulfillment partners have an extremely large capacity to ship orders and currently stock millions of dollars worth of inventory.

Additionally, GONT will be filing to change the name of the company to Global Merchandising, Inc. The focus of the new business will be to develop DisasterAndEmergencyKits.com and to find other business opportunities in the retail merchandising sector focusing on consumer electronics, computer, clothing and other hard goods.
