Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. Receives Cyber Tracker Purchase Order from Knox County School System

ASHEVILLE, N.C., June 27, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets:HISC) has signed an agreement with the Knox County, Tenn. school system for the purchase if its revolutionary Cyber Tracker to be installed on school buses used in its system. The Cyber Tracker provides real-time GPS tracking speed monitoring, stopping time, and flashing lights. The Cyber Tracker will immediately notify the administration if the bus goes off course or is being driven erratically.

"Part of our objective is to be able to locate all of the school buses in real-time, make sure they are traveling on the scheduled routes, and are being operated safely," said Rickey R. Grubb, Transportation Supervisor of Knox County Schools. "Additionally, the solution must not only track where they are, but also provide a historical summary of the buses on a daily basis. We were seeking an all-in-one device that would give us accurate and concise information with the opportunity to add future enhancements."

With the Cyber Tracker, the school system will be able to monitor where the buses go, when and where they stop, the vehicles' speed, and gas consumption. The school system will take delivery of its first Cyber Trackers later this year. Knox County operates 400 buses within its system.

"This is the most exciting development in the school transportation arena during my 25 year tenure. I am even more excited about the future developments Cyber Tracker will create to further enhance the safety and security of students on our school buses," continued Grubb.

"The beauty of the Cyber Tracker is that it can provide all of this information in an accurate and uniform manner," said Frank Moody, CEO of Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. "Knox County uses a large number of independent bus drivers, so having a standard of measure for all of them is important."

"Student safety is absolutely the top priority," said Grubb. "Parents want to be assured that the buses are operating on schedule in a safe fashion. This device will help give those parents that peace of mind. By tracking our buses and studying their routes, we may find more efficient strategies that could reduce operational overhead. The opportunity to increase efficiency in unison with student safety is definitely a win-win scenario."

The Cyber Tracker is a portable family detection device designed to provide real-time GPS tracking of vehicles, people, or other mobile or movable objects. Its convenient rugged design (5" x 5" x 1") makes it applicable in a variety of situations where it is necessary to know an exact location of a person or object. It features "Push to Talk" ability and an extended battery life.

The company began taking pre-orders for the New Cyber Tracker this June. Please visit www.hissusa.com for details.
