St. Andrews Bay Golf Resort & Spa Brings the Inforemer to the Doorstep of the Home of Golf

GPSI Premieres the Award Winning Inforemer GPS System in Scotland

NEW YORK, July 14, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- GPS Industries, Inc. (OTCBB:GPSN), a leading innovator of Wi-Fi wireless and GPS-enabled multimedia communications and management solutions for golf facilities and residential communities, today announces the installation of the Inforemer(tm) Wi-Fi GPS system on one of the new additions to St. Andrews golfing landscape, the Devlin at St. Andrews Bay Golf Resort & Spa.

The stunning par 72 cliff-top course was designed by Australian Bruce Devlin and the legendary Gene Sarazen. "St. Andrews Bay is one of the finest resorts in Europe, located at the Home of Golf, and we're excited to be working with the resort in providing the course with a system which will add to their existing unparalleled levels of service to their guests," said Phil Lewin of Gepsco Ltd., European distributor for the Inforemer(tm). The distances are measured in both metres and yards and will be the first UK installation to cater to golfers from around the world.

"Our commitment to guests is for St. Andrews Bay to deliver on the promise of the highest possible level of service. As such, we are comfortable about introducing both carts and GPS for our guests, while offering a traditional links-style golf experience," comments Iain McInally, Director of Golf at St. Andrews Bay. "We have delivered what we believe to be the most advanced GPS golf solution on the market. We are very excited about the benefits GPS Industries' Inforemer(tm) solution will bring to our facility and guests."

A welcome edition to the fleet of golf buggies, the 10.4-inch colour graphic Inforemer(tm) screen instructs the golfer of exact distance information, to hazards such as bunkers, water features and to the front, centre and back of the greens. The system is also fully integrated with the Internet giving golfers the ability to check sports scores and news from around the world, as well as updates on their own tournament.

"GPS Industries is proud to be associated with this fine golfing facility. We are pleased to offer courses worldwide the opportunity to introduce new revenue streams by utilising our technology, and are delighted to add a new destination at the game's historic venue to our rapidly expanding portfolio of courses," added Bradley Allen, Vice President of GPS Industries Inc.
