(Pink Sheets:SFLM) announced today that it has appointed "All That I Need" Director and Producer, James Hergott, as the President of the Company. Kenneth Eade will resign as CEO and president, but will remain as a consultant and the company's attorney. "I am very pleased that James has accepted the helm of Soleil," said outgoing CEO Kenneth Eade. "His enthusiasm and talent will be a great asset to this company," he added.
James Hergott, at the helm of his own production company, Hergott Productions, successfully produced, directed and promoted the widely anticipated "All That I Need," a Cinema Verite feature in the genre of "The Blair Witch Project." He is a graduate of York University, where he studied film and philosophy. While still a student, he founded his first business venture, the establishment of a "900 line" for jobs across Canada. In 1999, in collaboration with Producer Tarquin Gotch (Home Alone), he co-wrote the screenplay, "Brothers," and served as Associate Producer of "Call Me Donald," a biography on Donald Trump, on which he wrote the treatment. His latest film project, "All That I Need," which was conceived, written, produced and directed by Hergott, was screened at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2005. Perhaps his greatest business accomplishment to date has been to establish a non-studio distribution system for motion pictures, which he will continue to develop at the helm of the company.
