Immediatek's DiscLive Rolling Out Live DVDs

First ever Immediate DVDs to be offered with legendary Funkmeister George Clinton; Concert Event and DVDs will benefit Texas Music Project

RICHARDSON, Texas, Aug. 16, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Things are going to get really funky in Dallas. DiscLive, Inc., the live recording unit of Immediatek, Inc. (OTCBB:ITEK) and the leader in the space of recording live events and providing immediate CDs to fans, today announced that it is fulfilling its goal of taking its technology to the next level with the introduction of live DVDs available immediately after the concert for an upcoming event featuring an appearance by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee George Clinton.

On August 25, the Grandmaster of Funk will perform as a special guest of The All Funk Radio Show at a concert to be held at d'Jango on the Parkway, an upscale and innovative venue located in prestigious North Dallas. The concert will be filmed and edited on-the-fly, and the mastered DVD content will be duplicated and made available immediately afterwards for eager fans. The limited edition collectible DVDs are free with each ticket purchased and are being sold as a separate product on DiscLive's website (www.disclive.com). The first DVDs are expected to be in the hands of fans within 15-20 minutes after the last note.

The concert and live DVD sales will benefit the Texas Music Project, a nonprofit organization working to help restore music education in Texas public schools. So far, the organization projects its grants will benefit 700,000 Texas students.

"We are thrilled that DiscLive, d'Jango and especially George Clinton recognize schools and children need help providing music education to children," said Bruce Orr, co-founder of the Texas Music Project. "Music has proven to reduce drop out rates, help improve learning in math, improve cultural understanding and tolerance and more. With all the well publicized problems in schools how can we afford not to have music as a core element?"

Clinton is an outspoken proponent of public education, and music education is something that he holds dear to his heart.

Tickets and DVDs are available on DiscLive's website, www.disclive.com, and on d'Jango's website, www.djangoontheparkway.com, and also at the d'Jango box office by calling 972.789.1700.
