The WGL Signs LPGA Players for Million Dollar Shootout

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 17, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The World Golf League, Inc. (OTCBB:WGFL) announced today that it has signed Carin Koch and Bernadette Luse of the LPGA to participate as celebrity lifelines in the upcoming WGL Million Dollar Shootout (MDSO) reality television series. Carin Koch, an 11-year veteran of the LPGA Tour hails from Sweden, is currently ranked number 25 in the world and has earned over $3.5 million in career earnings. "We are thrilled to have added such talent to an already star studded celebrity cast for the MDSO," said Mike Pagnano, CEO The WGL, Inc. "With each team fielding a female player, it is only natural that we have an LPGA player as part of the celebrity lifeline trio for each episode. The inclusion of Carin and Bernadette will also add to the entertainment value of the MDSO and attract additional female viewers," Mr. Pagnano went on to say. The WGL also plans to add one or two players to the celebrity lifeline cast from the PGA Champions Tour. The WGL Million Dollar Shootout is scheduled to air on the PAX Network beginning January 23, 2006 at 7 p.m. EST.

The WGL markets a professional golf concept in the USA, which allows average golfers to play for substantial prize money in local and regional tournaments culminating with a PGA-style national event and world championship. The WGL is also the producer of the Million Dollar Shootout reality television series and has awarded over $1,000,000 in prize money to date.
