Immediatek's DiscLive to Record Storm Aid: The Concert

Presented by Dallas' 102.1 KDGE

RICHARDSON, Texas, Sept. 13, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- On September 18, 2005, 102.1 FM KDGE The Edge presents Storm Aid: The Concert. Bands scheduled to perform include the Burden Brothers, Space Cadet, Blue October, Edgewater, Supercell, South FM, Deaf Pedestrians, Zayra, No Control, Greatness in Tragedy and The Vanished. The bands will perform their sets acoustically in this six-hour show. Immediatek's (OTCBB:ITEK) DiscLive will be there to record the show.

"This is a rare event that puts all these great bands playing acoustically under one roof. People would be willing to spend their money on this concert anyway and it is incredible that 100 percent of the proceeds will go towards the victims of Hurricane Katrina," 102.1 FM Promotions Director Travis Hill said.

The concert will be held at The Gypsy Ballroom in Dallas at 2513 Main Street. Doors will open at 2:30 p.m. and performances start at 3 p.m. The event will end by 10 p.m. so people can proceed to other Deep Ellum clubs for Deep Relief, a Deep Ellum hurricane relief effort.

Tickets are $25 plus a service charge and will go on sale on Monday, September 12 through Front Gate Tickets (www.FrontGateTickets.com). DiscLive will be recording the show and limited-edition two disc CD sets of featured performances from each band will be available for purchase beginning on September 12 through the DiscLive website (www.DiscLive.com) and at the show. All proceeds from tickets, CD sales and the bar will benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina through The American Red Cross.

Zach Bair, CEO of DiscLive, said, "We are thrilled to be participating with the EDGE for this great cause. With the rare acoustic performances, these discs are sure to become collector's items."

"The American Red Cross needs all the support it can get," KDGE Program Director Duane Doherty said. "Storm Aid: The Concert gives people the opportunity to help by joining musicians in the cause to aid the people who have lost so much to this horrible disaster."
