Labwire Sponsors Workshop on International Drug Testing

HOUSTON, Sept. 21, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Labwire Inc. (Pink Sheets:LBWR) announced today that the Company sponsored a workshop on International Drug Testing on September 19th, 2005 in Houston, TX. The workshop was hosted by the Council on Alcohol and Drugs and attracted representatives from several international firms in the Oil & Gas, Construction, and Transportation industries that have vested interests in the extension of drug testing procedures to overseas projects.

Attendees at this year's conference included Shell (Pink Sheets:RYDAF), ExxonMobil (NYSE:XOM), Chevron (NYSE:CVX), ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP), Continental Airlines (NYSE:CAL), CITGO, Jacobs Engineering (NYSE:JEC), KBR, division of Halliburton, Baker Hughes (NYSE:BHI), BP (NYSE:BP), and Occidental Petroleum (NYSE:OXY).

The workshop featured presentations by Dr. Anthony Wong and Per Bjorklov, two founding directors of the International Organization of Drugfree Workplaces (IODW). Dr. Wang is the Director of Maxilab, the largest provider of drug testing services in South America and Mr. Bjorklov is President of the European Workplace Drug Testing Society (EWDTS). Both individuals are avid supporters of the standardization of worldwide drug testing procedures.
